Every year, the Oklahoma State School Boards Association and Cooperative Council for Oklahoma School Administration team up to host a three - day conference for school board members and superintendents from across the state. This year, Travis and Presley hosted a booth featuring their comprehensive curriculum that focuses on teaching manners, as well as life skills, to young children! In addition to the booth, the duo taught a continuing education workshop, highlighting the use of SMART board technologies in the classroom. The gang really enjoyed meeting everyone that came! Thank you school board members and superintendents for all that you do!

The lessons of Adventures with Travis and Presley will be incorporated into all 16 of the Regional Food Bank’s Kids Cafe sites in central and western Oklahoma.  Kids Cafe is an after-school and summer program of the Regional Food Bank.  Kids Cafe provides a safe-haven for 850 at-risk youth by providing mentoring, tutoring and an after-school snack or meal.  The program has been shown to improve grades and behavior, while teaching the importance of eating healthy meals.  Travis and Presley will visit two of the Regional Food Bank’s Kids Cafe sites in Enid and Oklahoma City to help teach children the value of manners.  To learn more about Kids Cafe or to make a donation visit regionalfoodbank.org or call 405.972.1111.  Travis and Presley currently serve on the Regional Food Banks Celebrity Council.  

Travis and Presley were guests on the Channel 9 Morning Show today with Ed Murray and Robin Marsh.  Presley had to get up at 5am so he's sporting a major yawn.

Travis and Presley were guests of honor in Dallas, Texas for the book signing of TOP DOGS AND THEIR PETS.  A book released by Neiman Marcus to raise money for the Cesar and Illusion Millan Foundation.

Presley was the first dog in history to address the Oklahoma House of Representatives!

Representative Rex Duncan and Senator David Myers recently presented a citation to Travis Brorsen and his Boxer, Presley.  Brorsen Addressed the House of Representatives, and Sen. Myers and Rep. Duncan then honored Travis with the citation.  Travis was reared on a farm near Perry, was a member of FFA and graduated from Oklahoma State University.  He is now an actor living in Los Angeles.  Last Summer Travis and Presley appeared on CBS’ Greatest American Dog reality competition and won $250,000. Travis is a positive role model for young people and has brought recognition to Oklahoma, returning to his home state to provide encouraging words to 10,000 FFA members and perform with Presley at their closing session; whereas, the Oklahoma Legislature takes great pride in recognizing Travis Brorsen for his outstanding accomplishments in the field of entertainment.  Now, therefore, pursuant to the motion of Rep. Rex Duncan and Sen. David Myers the Oklahoma House of Representatives and Senate extends to Travis Brorsen sincere congratulations and directs this citation be presented.

Travis and Presley to speak at the OKLAHOMA STATE FFA CONVENTION

Winners of the Greatest American Dog!

Travis, the 1997-98 state FFA reporter, grew up on a farm in Perry. Presley was his first “in house” dog. Neither Travis nor Presley had formal training until their appearance on the Greatest American Dog series. Travis lives in Los Angeles, Calif., pursuing an acting career. And, yes, Presley is coming with him to the state convention.  They will speak at the final session, April 29th at 6:30pm.  The state convention is held at the COX CONVENTION CENTER, downtown Oklahoma City.

Travis and Presley are going to be featured on Animal Planet's "Faithful Friends" on February 14th.  For those of you new to the show, "Faithful Friends" features Drs. Foster and Smith sharing tips and lifestyle habits to maintaining a special relationship with your pet.

We're staying mum on the episode with Travis & Presley, but you will certainly enjoy some laughs.  Be sure to set your Tivo if you have big Valentine's plans :)

Travis and Presley were welcomed home to many fans to be honored in a ceremony recognizing October 17, 2008 to be Travis and Presley day in Perry Oklahoma. They came in to the town square in parade that was led by the National Color Guard, followed by the Perry Police, Sheriff's Department, Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Fire department, Perry High School Band, School Color Guard, Pom Pom girls and cheerleaders, Perry Public Schools staff, Presley's parents, and Travis and Presley brought up the rear.

Many fans met the duo at the bandstand which held was filled with a few hundred fans. The national anthem was sung, followed by Mayor Chuck Hall recognizing Travis and all his family who were in attendance. Hall then presented Travis with the proclamation declaring that October 17, 2008 to be Travis and Presley day in Perry Oklahoma. The cheerleaders let a cheer, and the pom girls did a special dance honoring them both for their accomplishments. T-shirts were sold and many stood in line to receive their autograph from one of Perry's most remarkable people.
