Travis and Presley want to visit your school!!

Presley was the first dog in history to address the Oklahoma House of Representatives!

Representative Rex Duncan and Senator David Myers recently presented a citation to Travis Brorsen and his Boxer, Presley.  Brorsen Addressed the House of Representatives, and Sen. Myers and Rep. Duncan then honored Travis with the citation.  Travis was reared on a farm near Perry, was a member of FFA and graduated from Oklahoma State University.  He is now an actor living in Los Angeles.  Last Summer Travis and Presley appeared on CBS’ Greatest American Dog reality competition and won $250,000. Travis is a positive role model for young people and has brought recognition to Oklahoma, returning to his home state to provide encouraging words to 10,000 FFA members and perform with Presley at their closing session; whereas, the Oklahoma Legislature takes great pride in recognizing Travis Brorsen for his outstanding accomplishments in the field of entertainment.  Now, therefore, pursuant to the motion of Rep. Rex Duncan and Sen. David Myers the Oklahoma House of Representatives and Senate extends to Travis Brorsen sincere congratulations and directs this citation be presented.

Travis and Presley to speak at the OKLAHOMA STATE FFA CONVENTION

Winners of the Greatest American Dog!

Travis, the 1997-98 state FFA reporter, grew up on a farm in Perry. Presley was his first “in house” dog. Neither Travis nor Presley had formal training until their appearance on the Greatest American Dog series. Travis lives in Los Angeles, Calif., pursuing an acting career. And, yes, Presley is coming with him to the state convention.  They will speak at the final session, April 29th at 6:30pm.  The state convention is held at the COX CONVENTION CENTER, downtown Oklahoma City.

Travis and Presley to appear at the Luxury Pet Pavilion, host of the nation’s premiere pet products showcase in a luxury atmosphere, is excited to return to the City of Los Angeles for their 2009 Spring Show. Introducing the most innovative and cutting-edge pet products and pet product inventors from around the world, the Luxury Pet Pavilion will take place at the Westin Bonaventure Exhibit Hall, March 7-8, 2009 from 10 am – 5 pm.

Travis Brorsen and Presley are out and about again. This dog has more frequent flier miles than most people. They are traveling to chilly Maine to spend some time with Sue Pollard and NE2YOU.com

This past October Travis and Presley came home for a few weeks and had the opportunity to visit a few schools in Oklahoma. Students ranged from 1st graders to seniors in high school, but no matter their age they all really enjoyed seeing them. At the appearances Travis spoke to the students about making right choices and always going for the dreams. Presley really enjoyed showing off all of his tricks and gave away lots of free kisses to all the children. Students and teachers alike enjoyed seeing them perform and were glad that they had time to stop by their schools.
